ABOUT NIGERIA
Nigeria , officially the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a country in West Africa. It is the most populous country in Africa; geographically situated between the Sahel to the north, and the Gulf of Guinea to the south in the Atlantic Ocean; covering an area of 923,769 square kilometers, with a population of over 211 million.

Nigeria is located at the West Africa, bordered by four (4) countries. The countries are Niger, Chad, Cameroon, and Benin. Nigeria has been divided into 36 states and one federal capital territory for the capital Abuja.
Nigeria is widely known as an Africa’s Giant because of its petroleum industry. But do you know that Nigeria has become one of the most densely populated countries in Africa and are the seventh largest population in the world.
Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa with a GDP of US$432 billion in 2020 according to THE WORLD BANK. The Covid-19 pandemic halted the growth of Africa’s biggest economy. Before facing the Covid-19 pandemic, Nigeria was already on its path to recover from its previous recession in 2016 which was caused by the global oil price crash.
